Once upon a time I had many questions about life and death and the whole of existence, about the earth and the universe, about why I am here and who I am. Now, more than forty years later, I perceive the world in a completely different way. When I remember who I am, I remember the same thing about all my fellow human beings. It is possible to see beyond the body and understand that we are not just a body, but spirit.
Various insights and thoughts have come to me, for example from the book A Course of Love, which on several occasions points out “as within, so without.” It also says that by living in the world as who you are, you create change in the world. So there is a relationship between the inner and outer world. Everything starts within you and you see the effects outside of you. It is not the other way around. Do you understand? That is why all power is yours. In heaven and on earth. You are love, perfect and whole, valuable and eternal. You are not a separate being but love because love is everywhere. Everywhere. Everything is love.
If you want peace in the outer world, you start by finding peace within yourself. You may think that no matter how much you search for inner peace, there will still be no peace in the world. But there is. You have no idea how many brothers and sisters you reach by being yourself, which is Love. Love is unlimited and eternal and automatically reaches everyone at the higher true level. So when you awaken, many many more awaken.
When you judge another person or situation, you are judging yourself because we are all truly one. What you do to another, you do to yourself. You are keeping your brother or sister in prison, but you are the jailer. So you are just as imprisoned as your brother or sister. Non-judgment is the key to freedom.
